Mandelsnake is fucking good, isn't he?

I've got no time for the amoral, mendacious cunt, but fuck me, he can run a "media narrative", can't he? Since he's been back in the team, Gorgon is looking like a colossus statesman (if you just scan the headlines.) Call Me Dave is looking just like the unprincipled, grasping, idea-free cunt that he is. The LibDems are nowhere (as usual).

The "vibe" I get from scanning news sites is that Gordon is rising to the occasion and Dave has been left floundering.

I have this really, really horrible feeling about all this.

Ditto.

I mean I thought that Gordo had handed it to them, but now I've got this dark sinking feeling that the fuckers could actually win again if Dave doesn't up his game.

Quaking with trepidation here at FatBigot Towers. I can see the point of letting Gordon hang himself by yet more acts of utter incompetence, but someone needs to point out that they are acts of incompetence. There is a nasty smell about the place at the moment, and I don't just mean the lingering stench of last night's cottage pie.

I hope that Mandy doesn't visit your 'blog. This sort of comment will just encourage him.

Then again, I wish Camerosborne did. Calling them 'idea-free' is an insult to 'idea-free', IMHO.

Relax! Gordon is currently experiencing a dead cat bounce. It had to happen. But mark my words, once we get into 2009, with all its negative economic stats to come, GB will be lower in the polls than he was a month or so back. There will be unemployment well north of 2m, pushing 3m by 2010. Houses will be reposssesed left right and centre. Businesses will be going bust. Bankrupcies will soar.

All Cameron has to do is not f**k up and let the recession do the work (that's not to say I'm that impressed by DC, but anything's better than GB). Come an election all the Tories have to do is endlessly repeat GB quotes from the first 10 years of Labour back at him. I'm glad they're not using the 'no more boom & bust' quote yet - just hold your fire til you see the whites of their eyes!

@ Sobers.

A negative economy will be spun away, Global and American caused, if only everyone had done what Gordo had said at the time.

Unemployment could hit 10 millions, but MSM will not publicize it. Ditto repossessions, bankrupted businesses.

It will all be swept away by I'm a celebrity dances on ice and naughty bloggers must be curtailed.

My feeling is that he's being rewarded by the PR contacts of the big investment banks for handing them a big slice of our money for 'emergency' use, whilst partners continue to pay themselves large bonuses.

I've decided to vote Labour.

Really. I'm not sure its going to be in the best interests of the Conservatives to win the next election. I'm sure David Cameron now has a banner hung over his door saying "To the winner goes the spoils"... literally.

I believe we need to kill off the pathetic Labour Party for good... another 5 years should do that I think. Okay, sure the country will become a basket case wasteland of despair filled with underachievers and ne'er-do-wells. But I'm optimistic that when the money finally runs out the skiving class will bugger all off to somewhere more agreeable to their lifestyles, like Albania, for their handouts, stolen comforts and drugs.

Naturally, I'll be watching the Beeb via satellite from my bolt-hole abroad and the moment it goes off the air I'll return to what I hope is a decent country again.

Take a look at the proposals - delaying the green taxes on cars, tax breaks for the 'middle clases'...

He's buying us with our own money.

And we'll let him, too....
