As for striking public sector unions; they play a dangerous game - the danger that no one will notice their strike and conclude, rightly, that many of them aren't needed.
Striking local authority "workers" are a bit like some badly-sequenced traffic lights I have to cross - when they failed recently for 2 days the traffic actually flowed more smoothly and faster. So sack all the overpaid, under-worked complacent bastards and only re-employ minimum numbers on realistic wages & benefits!
