Twatter exhaustion

I find myself spending more and more time on twitter and commenting on other people's stuff than writing my own. It's frustrating, because I keep on coming across things that merit a blog post, but once I've tweeted about them or commented elsewhere, I have lost the urge to blog about it.

Any ideas?

I feel your pain, Obnoxio, I really do. But, your posts are great, pithy, very pithy and to the point:-)

I like your style and I love to read your blog so keep a little energy for yourself and send some ire into the world!

You're not the first to say this, and I found it to be the case for a while as well.

I guess if you let out your clowny rage in bite sized chunks, you're not gonna save it up for a longer post. That's what I found anyway.

Spend a day in ann NHS hospital, you'll be full to bursting with clown rage again in no time... poor people :(.

Link Twitter idiots to specific posts here instead of responding in such a small number of characters.

Things get too lost on Twatter - although I like it a lot. Just use your self control, man.

My what???

Well, ok then. What results in the biggest hard on? Bitching on Twatter or writing sufficient blogposts to raise your standing on the incestuous Wikio hit parade?! Do the spurtiest. There y'go. Simple.

Do donkey porn fetish sites feature anywhere in my spurty matters?

Jill said...

Oh, I thought you were a midget porn kinda guy, what with the clown get up an' all. Circuses. All that.

Seriously? Do both. But - as I think I've said to you before - the off-message stuff on the blog doesn't make for the best reading. Only fellow gang members like it. That's how I see it, anyways.

Er... how about not using Twitter as much? Or does the solution need to be more practical?

Come to think of it, one of the reasons I think you've not been as active lately is because Boring & Demented haven't been providing you with as much material as they used to. They haven't written anything on their shite-fest of a blog for the past 10 days, at least. The moment they come back, I reckon you'll be back to writing 422 blog posts per hour. Or something.

Are political blogs generally more quiet?

I sometimes think of blogging like CB Radio or, before then, Radio Hams.

Great gush of excitement for hobbyists, but when the novelty wears off the blogs will begin to go.

Where there is no money to be made, only excitement keeps you going...

Obnoxio The Clown said...

Well, I'll keep going till you lose the next Orwell, at least then. :o)

@Obnoxio

Do you think I should enter it?

Perhaps I should offer to judge it...

...and it would be fun if you then entered it ;-)

Obnoxio The Clown said...

What do you think my odds would be? :o)

Jack of Kent said...

Oh, you would have to suffer all the way to the shortlist.

And then I would make you suffer as long as possible at the ceremony.

And then...

I think I'll give it a swerve thanks.

Anyway, I can't see anyone voting for a blogger who says "cunt" all the time.
