Everything seems so grey there, not least the people. Oh and smiling at a cop (not even sure why I did that, just being smiley I guess?) gets you thrown up against a shop's roller shutter - perhaps its a traditional Austrian welcome?
Actually, it's a long time since I've been to Kings Cross. Last time I was there (mid 1990s) I took a pic of my mum and an auntie standing outside an excellent bakery humourously named "Kings Cross Tarts". I wonder if it is still in business?

Been to Austria twice and hated it both times.

John - I had the same problem in Australia and didn't get to hear any yodelling nor se any lederhosen. What is the world coming to?
