In a futile bid to show that I have my finger on the pulse, I sent this to a couple of trainees at work. Within seconds, one of the more switched on ones replied,

"I heard it was because she didn't know which half she would get to keep and didn't want to be left with just the arse."

I am sitting here 24 hours later still wondering if I am missing something.
