Fuck tha NSPCC!!

Bishop Hill has collected links to some very important posts regarding the fake charity that is the NSPCC.

It's not well worth a read: it is absolutely essential.

I was pretty damn appalled by these most interesting revelations. Apart from it being unsurprising that the NSPCC is getting involved in the home schooling area as of course an independent expert that admits it knows nothing of the area, "because it's for the children" innit? Of course if child cruelty ceased then it would have no reason to exist. So creating a climate of fear and anxiety amongst both children and adults is grist to it's fundraising mill. As for this jumping on tabloid bandwagons re occult child abuse, satanic child abuse etc that is dispicable behaviour. The NSPCC comes over as a rather shady organisation. I'm afraid I will not take their ad campaigns at all seriously now. Them being a fake charidee had already turned me off somewhat.

I have never been a great fan of the NSPCC. Those adverts on TV scare the crap out of my kids. I know it's a simple view but why the hell should I give my money to a charity that (in theory)protects some children with money raised by scaring the fucking shit out of other children. Those adverts aren't aimed at adults, they are aimed at kids. Kids find the images disturbing and then ask the adults about them. It makes the kids think they are lucky to have a stable, nice home life (when in fact it's their fucking right as children) and it makes them feel guilty for what they have. They then pressurise parents into giving money to the NSPCC because is makes them. That fucking sucks. Those post were brill.
