Open contempt for politicians is neither daring nor clever
Fuck off, you sanctimonious twat: if the press hadn't been sucking Brown (and Blair and and and ...) cock so hard over the years, they wouldn't have been able to fuck the country up as much as they have.
But spare us, please, any more piety from those who know politics is partly and unavoidably a bloody, multi-layered battle between two sides. They know because they have become part of the battle.
Are you fucking wilfully stupid, Steve? Well, yes, I guess you are because you still suck Labour's cock after a decade of disaster, waste and fascism. Let me make it clear:
1. NOBODY THINKS POLITICS IS PURE.
2. NOBODY THINKS THE TORIES OR LIB DEMS ARE DIFFERENT.
3. THESE GUYS WERE ABUSING TAXPAYER MONEY TO FUND THE SMEARING OF THEIR OPPONENTS. THE TORIES AND LIBDEMS AND EVERY OTHER SMEARY MOTHERFUCKER IS USING THEIR OWN MONEY OR MONEY VOLUNTARILY GIVEN TO THEM.
4. YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON.
I hope this makes it clear, you fucking idiot.

Who cares if it's 'daring or clever'? Just because something is neither 'daring nor clever' doesn't stop it being the correct attitude.
e.g. is it daring or clever to believe that 2+2=4?
Steve Richards is the man that claimed in the run up to the mayoral election last year that it was a test of the voters and they would have failed if they voted out Livingstone.
I enjoy your posts, Obby, but I beg to differ.
The Tories wil be different this time. They will not be "more of the same." (The Lib Dems would be different too... they'd be worse.)
Obviously, Consrevatives have to prove this to you and everybody else. We have no squeaky-clean past. I hope you keep enough of an open mind, despite your healthy cynicism, to recognise a change when it is demonstrated.
And If It doesn't happen, I 'll keep enough of an open mind to admit it and weep openly like a baby for a lost opportunity.

I think you'll find, Steve, that this is what the majority of former Conservative voters are worried about...
Steve Richards gets one thing right - the bloggers will, indeed, turn on the Conservatives if their method of governance turrns out to be as inept and immoral as Labour's, and if they fail to get to grips with the public sector waste from the very start.
You don't have the luxury of a voiceless public anymore.
So you aren't taking up that career as a diplomat then?
LMFAO
Spot on!
i'd like to echoe those comments aswell
