BFPO - go sign

Our MPs. They love taking advantage of the positive feeling the public have towards our Armed Forces but they also have an irritating desire to take money off them.

Sign here to keep the BFPO in mainland Europe.

Guaranteed this is gonna be an EU directive behind this. Related to the postal services changes to improve 'competition'. Gotta be.

BFPO addresses have benefits over and above being able to send a letter at UK rates. There's something very EU here. Anyone find anything?

I don't give a fuck what the shit is behind this!

As an ex ..... let's just say I've done my service, I feel very strongly about supporting our lads and lasses.

However, there is more to this, read the ARRSE forums:

The idea is to reduce costs by shutting down redundant BFPO addresses. But it does have ramifications on some forces personnel serving abroad.
