The end of UKIP?

I see that Farage is going to step down as leader of UKIP. I can't help but feel that the only reason UKIP has been so successful is that Farage has been able to manage the tensions in a very fractious party.

I can't see this ending well for UKIP, and without a decent party behind him, I can't see this ending well for Farage. Which is a pity really, because I've always had a lot of time for Farage.

Maybe he's planning to defect to LPUK, wouldn't that be a laugh?

Surely the prospect of Farage vs Bercow will be reminiscent of Spy-vs-Spy?

I think Nigel would rather be a Mandelson style puppet master, rather than the front man (fall guy).

He's cleansed the party of most of his enemies and now can step back into his original roll, where he can wield all the power, without the inconvenience of being single point of blame.

UKIP only ever appealed to those who would rather die than admit to BNP membership.

"UKIP only ever appealed to those who would rather die than admit to BNP membership.".

How are UKIP's policies anything like those of the BNP (apart from leaving the EU)? You might as well say the same thing about LPUK; THEY want to leave the EU too, AND some of them want the right to private gun ownership. Just like the BNP. Oh noes, what a bunch of right wing nutters! That proves that LPUK really wants us all to shave our heads and sit on top of bridges playing banjos. Or something.

I agree that there's a faction of UKIP that's of the 'send all the darkies home' persuasion, which is why I'm more comfortable voting for LPUK. To tar all UKIP members or voters with the same brush though, is ridiculous.

UKIP are still my second choice, yet I'd rather chew broken glass than ever vote for the BNP. But then, I guess I must be lying about that.

Best quote I heard of on UKIP was "BNP in blazers". As for the Libertarians, in some respects their hearts in the right place but there is a skein of KKK wannabes too.

And in other news, some Labour voters are racists. And some Conservative voters, too. Some left-handed people are. As are some people of the opposite orientation.

If you're going to traduce the entire membership and voting base of a political party, back it up with evidence or your point is as meaningless as the above.

LMAO ABG - the BNP is at heart a socialist party, and no person in their right mind would ever vote for them for any other reason than to piss Labour off big style.

All three 'nationalist' parties (BNP, Plaid and the SNP) are socialist - it's just that the Balding Nobheads take race a little too seriously and the other two don't, but then there never was much of a Socialist tradition in the English heartlands anyway (the Chartists were influenced by their Welsh roots).

UKIP is more like the dispossessed old right of the Tories - some of them may be racists (so what), but none of them would ever consider the socialist BNP as an alternative.

Para-the BNP are a one trick pony so that any talk of "socialist policy" is jejune to say the least. Lab betrayed the white working class big time but hey that ain't noose buddy as they say in Delaware). BNP will mop up the disaffected. As for "race" c'mon I've written about that umpteen time. Colour. Skin tone.

I noticed recently that there have been no posts from that irritating cunt Wesley Groves but another equally irritating twat A.B. Gordon has taken his place. Imagine my surprise when I discovered they are one and the same.

Can't lady from Torygraph. I see one of your multiple IDs (contrary to T&Cs) was deleted. "Man" in a bag, Runt in a sack as we all called you. Oh, have you sussed out that signing on in Peterborough is NOT the same as "business in Dubai". Now stop chavving Oboes page and fuck off and die Retard.
