OK, apart from the fact that I start off by saying that the cunts at Islam4UK have as much of a right to free speech as anyone else, even though the fuckers would happily deny me that same right given half a chance, this is just all kinds of bullshit.
First of all, why does "writing as a British Muslim" give him any more authority or credence than if it was some pasty-faced northern monkey? Are only British Muslims allowed to comment with authority on matters of free speech if British Muslims are involved? Or is the fact that one fascist Tory Muslim fucknut wants to keep some other fascist Jihadist Muslim fucknut from having his say somehow noble?
The decision by the extremist group Islam4uk to plan a march through the streets of Wootton Bassett is an act of deliberate provocation not designed, as alleged, to honour "innocent Muslims" killed in the conflict in Afghanistan - but simply to antagonise people who have had the decency to regularly honour returning soldiers killed in battle.
And? Jesus (PBUH) wept. So fucking what, you cretinous fucknugget?
The proposed march is distasteful propaganda which all right-minded people, regardless of the religious affiliation, will abhor. And on this occasion, the Home Secretary must exercise some of the numerous powers at his disposal and prevent it from taking place.

Do you have the faintest fucking idea of what free speech is all about? It's very fucking easy to defend free speech when it's in line with your own thinking, but it takes a set to defend it when people are saying things you don't like. Islam4uk is a marginalised and potentially dangerous group of Muslims led by the notorious Anjem Choudary which, among many things, attacks the “polytheistic anathema that is democracy” and declares Muslims who actively participate in the democratic process as out of the fold of Islam. Its members, however, are more than happy to live within such a system and enjoy its benefits including the right to protest.
So near, and yet so far. You could have just pointed out the hypocrisy of the formerly boozing, womanizing Anjem "I'm so pious, I only fart at the West" Choudary and that would have been adequate. But by calling for them to be banned, you are only fanning the flames of the media attention they're getting.

The most effective response would be to deprive them of the oxygen of publicity. No media,no observers, bystanders or crowds; bare streets, closed doors and windows, no traffic, an empty, silent village.

Fucking excellent article and I couldn't agree more. I fucking hate identity politics and the smugness of it all. Not surprising the Tories have bought into all that. They've conceded a massive argument by taking this NL line. Awful stuff.
I despise this Islam4UK outfit, but colour aside (as it should be) you can't argue for a ban on freedom of speech, and the argument ends entirely there.

Oh yes they have, they know exactly what they are doing. Did you notice that phrase "Home Secretary must exercise some of the numerous powers at his disposal and prevent it from taking place"? They've given themselves the powers, now all they need to do is use them. Its a call to arms that could have "because we will" tagged on the end.
It's worthy of note that the so-called 'Human Rights Act', as overseen by the EU, provides 'freedoms' that are all smoke and mirrors. The caveats present basically allow the state to put a stop to rights and interfere and dictate at will. It's the 3rd Reich all over, except run by liberal fascists rather than brownshirts.
It's a terrible state of affairs.
