Tory MP attends at party where someone else dresses up as a Nazi is sacked from the government to approving murmurs from the left, while Ed Bollocks who actually dressed up as a Nazi is still regarded as entirely acceptable as Chancellor and Shadow Chancellor.
Can anyone explain that to me?

Maybe no one actually gives a fuck what Blinky does any more?
He can dress up how he likes - he just doesn't matter any longer
Because Cameron is a weak, PC prat.
It's only if he turns up at the Cenotaph upon Remembrance Sunday wearing a shit donkey jacket that anyone in the Labour Party will say that he's making them unelectable.
Labour & the BNP are indistinguishable these days - e.g., Diane Abbott's funny turn today - that Balls probably gains votes from such high jinks
Yes. One is an evil Tory = NAZI the other is a cuddly Marxist. I'm sure they do see it in such black and white terms.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment and certainly hold no candle for Ed Balls, my understanding is that this is something he did before he started a career in politics.
I do believe that those that run for office are entitled to mistakes that otherwise would be unacceptable whilst in or going for office.
