OpenOffice 3.0 - the only option for masochistic Linux users

I'm glad that OpenOffice decided to dump GNOME's default save-as menu for their own harder-to-use menu. I was getting bored of being able to intuitively save files wherever I wanted.

Just no pleasing some people. Should be using KDE anyway, you big girl's blouse.

They've got a point. Redesigning windows that are already offered in a standard form is totally pointless and very frustrating. See Lotus Notes for further proof.

I'm loving Ubuntu 8.10 though :)

If people wish to create visually pleasing documents in an open format, what is wrong with emacs+LaTeX+xdvi+dvips?
