An unrocked boat

Well, it looks like Labour has managed to weather the storm. With their usual farrago of spin, lies and gall, they've managed to deflect sufficient criticism to hang on to the greasy pole.

And the Tories have been as useless as we've all come to expect: pompous, unsure, unclear and ineffective. They're obviously scared that if they rock the boat, they'll be unable to trough.

There's no doubt in my mind: this is pretty much the end of democracy in this country. It hasn't taken war, foreign manipulation or an invasion from outer space; merely the most useless bunch of spivs who deflected all attention on their lack of achievement, who disengaged Parliament from the public, who made it OK to trough without accountability.

I just hope the tattoo doesn't hurt too much.
