Sounds like GM is closing down the Pontiac division, which means no more cars like this ...

Wasn't the famous TransAm a Pontiac? that bastard had a 5.7 litre kick ass engine!

That's only the "Small Block" GM lump!
According to Wikipedia some of the special edition "Burt Reynolds" models had engines of up to 8.8 litres, and supposedly producing 650hp... God knows what they would be like on a wet road!

That is a seriously bad-looking car.

I am not sorry to see it go (I meant "stop".)

But then if you persist in getting into bed with governments, as i expect GM has been doing, then you must expect that your cars will look like governmentists have had a say in their design, like being "green" for instance.

So you get what you deserve.
