A constant reminder that life was so much better before the internet

The Rt Hon Member for Mogadishu East is my guess ...
£54.90 Malm chest of drawers (four drawer), IKEA. Bought by female Labour MP at IKEA in Bristol, but claimed for second home in London. Distance: 117 miles.
I might be wrong, but I believe both Ikea and John Lewis have modest branches in or around London. I would expect them to have been paid for in Bristol but collected from / delivered by a London branch.
Not sure you're onto a sleaze story here Mr Noxio.
I'm not too pissed off about minor delivery issues, it is not always possible to arrange for delivery at say a London flat if you are supposed to be in the House of Commons and there's no-one at the flat...
Perhaps carriage isn't an issue - provided the furniture is actually being used in her London home & not her Bristol one. If it's being used in Bristol, it's fraud.

Did she pay the carriage of it from Bristol to London or did she take it on the train do you think.
Ugh, she has no taste!

P.S. Sorry to piss in your soup.
