From the original prognosis that I would never walk again, my injuries are improving to such an extent that I will be attempting to walk the 2009 Flora London Marathon. On Saturday 26th April, I will be joining 36,000 other competitors to complete the 26.2m circuit starting at Blackheath, South West London and finishing at St James’s Park on The Mall on Saturday 9th May. My attempt will take two weeks, walking the maximum I have been medically advised; just under two miles every day.

I think I may have to slip him a few bob towards his target of £1,000,000 for Help for Heroes. How about you?

Too piss poor to help fiscally. I see mounted plod getting in on the act by being nice to him. Brave bloke gets my admiration,not that it is much compared to legs. He will come to realise the old lie "Dulce et decoum est pro patria mori".
Will our gracious leader donate anything from his substantial £330K salary, that's what I want to know? Ten per cent should do it. See it as a good will gesture! Might add weight to his pathetic apology.
Is that £330K before or after "perks"?
