Apparently, this is racist

See, now I'm quite confused by this accusation of racism. As far as I can see, this picture says that Barry O'Barmy is in the process of instituting something as useless in purpose and malign in intent as witchcraft, i.e. socialised medicine.

This is an honest request: can somebody please explain to me how this picture is racist?

I'm grossly offended and shocked.

Where do I collect my 'hurt feelings' compensation?

Don't you know? You're not allowed to relate minorities to bad things they actually resemble. If a white man had been put in the shaman's clothing, nobody would have blinked.

On the other hand, aren't the people whining about this photo a bunch of racists and monoculturalists for suggesting that there's something wrong with witch doctors? Where do they get off suggesting our culture is superior to that one?

Because "racist", "hater", or "bigot" are the only responses they have.

Where is it written that Shaman have to be black? As a white person I feel discriminated against, therefore I'll need counselling and some compensation please at the implication that I wouldn't be able to do this job.
