HIPs haven't really been abolished. You still have to have the energy certificate which is the one thing that you always had to pay for. The cost to homeowners will barely be any different.
With you all the way on this one Obo! Hopefully its just the start of dismantling NuLiarBores Socialist Nightmare. I would have emigrated but an too old.

You're so balanced mate, from now on I will refer to you for lessons on balance. Just one look at your political spectrum graph on your weblog front page is all I need for inspiration.
Once again, you blindly fail to see the point, JD: despite the fact that I am almost diametrically opposed to the LibCon coalition, when they do something I feel is correct, no matter how small, I feel it is my duty to thank them for it. I would have done the same for Labour, but they didn't do anything I agreed with.
The balance comes in the form of dumping on them for things they do wrong and praising them for things they do right.
It has got fuck all to do with where I sit on the political spectrum.
