Why is he not mugging pensioners and huffing glue like a normal kid?

He won't be demonstrating it on the island of Eigg at the moment.

Tragedy is Obno that years ago he would have been a normal kid. Reading Wizard comic, building Meccano, understanding the internal confusion engine, walking everywhere (at any time of day without fear of kiddie-fiddlers) and eating sweets loaded with chemicals. God it must have been grim in those days.

What's wrong with the Beano?

Obno - Us Beano readers were the lazy buggers at the back of the class swapping cigarette cards and flicking snot at the kids who used to read Wizard comic, build Meccano etc......

I doubt that the sweets I ate in those days were loaded with chemicals, but otherwise that must make me fairly normal.

Although I was a Beano reader, I used to sit at the back of the science class, winding up the Wimshurst generator. Once there was a good charge, Potter (the class dummy) got pushed onto it, giving him an almighty belt!

Happy times...

When I was a kid—which was not long ago – the mid noughties, in fact—I read the Dandy.

So what does that make me?

Now now Obno, just because Desperate Dan was giving Aunt Aggie one after his cow-pie we mustn't jump to conclusions.
