Surrogates
Quite a clever idea, for a change. I quite enjoyed it, just a pity about the mawkish end, but what can you expect from a "blockbuster".
Worth a watch.

It was bollocks. Pretentious and predicable 'social comment' that was nothing of the sort. More like a lecture than a blockbuster. 'I, robot' was superior.
Thing I found implausible about it is that nearly every one chooses a surrogate that is a younger, better looking version of themselves.
Seems to me that surrogates are psychologically cars, so people would choose the surrogate version of sports car or four wheel drive, say, Johnny Depp, or Joe Pineapples.

I guess it depends on your frame of mind when you're watching it. :o)
I found it a lot less tiresome than, say, The Day After Tomorrow.

Nah, I'd choose a surrogate that looked like me. I was handsome when I was young, slim and had hair. :o)
Thought you were a surrogate for Ronald McDonald. Or is he a surrogate for you? I forget.
