Let's assume for a moment that troughing MP's who "made errors" with their claims are all entirely correct and these were all genuine, no-malice-aforethought mistakes.
Do you prefer being governed by a bunch of incompetent, forgetful fucks who couldn't run a piss-up in a brewery to being governed by a bunch of venal, malicious cheats and thieves?
Neither one really works for me.

A second's generosity is far too long for these thieves and incompetents.
Either way they should be hung drawn and quartered.

I would have said I'd prefer a bunch of venal, malicious cheats and thieves, as they would be likely to be able to govern harshly but effectively, and gain good value for taxes by virtue of trying to improve their own lot, and that of their friends and family.
However, this bunch are incompetent, forgetful, venal and malicious cheats and thieves, so they have none of the plus points to being cheats and thieves, and all of the negatives to accompany their forgetful incompetence.
I don't think they should be hung, drawn and quartered, however.
I want to personally wrap my hands around their necks and stare into their eyes as the life drains away. Far more satisfying.
Indeed, these cunts aren't even smart enough to not get caught en masse and balls deep.
Give me proper underhand, backstabbing, corrupt politicians any day.
Either way, if they were little folk they would have been fired and had to help the plod with their enquiries.
Next time I get stopped for speeding, I shall just claim it was a 'genuine mistake' and all will be well!
