Cue the next global warming scare

So it seems that with a temperature rise as alarmist as anything put out there by the IPCC:

... the world's jungles will not turn to desert as is sometimes expected. Rather, a picture more like that of 65 million years ago might emerge.


Oh. So it might not be catastrophic then?

And in this rainforest 65 million years ago, there were 40-foot boa constrictors.

Fortunately nobody seems to be suggesting that global warming will see the return of enormous 40-foot constrictors.


Oh, how long do you give it before they do?

I used to work with a boa constrictor. She squeezed the life out of just about everyone. Then she got promotion and moved on. She's head of department now.

As a result of CCC, all the cute animals will go extinct and the nasty animals will take over. It's only a matter of time before they start telling us that.
