Who's fucking fault is this, anyway?

Fuck. I really shouldn't watch TV, especially not BBC "news".

This morning, while I was getting ready, I could hear about the scandal that diabolical bastard supermarkets have plenty of flu vaccine, while hard working families can't get their kids immunised because the sainted NHS doesn't have enough stock to go round.

Hard working families can't get their kids immunised at supermarkets, because supermarkets are not allowed to immunise kids.

And then, of course, a GP weighed in: what needs to happen, is that supermarket stocks of flu jabs should be "transferred" to local doctors.

"Transferred."

Of course, what they mean is: the NHS should be entitled to fucking plunder and loot supermarkets, who have paid for these cunting jabs and actually have enough stock to immunise people, while the fucking NHS, whose fucking job it is to immunise people, doesn't have the stocks because they're spending money on breast implants, climate change management and healthy eating initiatives.

And of course, this being the BBC, no fucker dare float the idea that supermarkets should be able to immunise anyone who fucking asks for a jab.

Jesus. What a fucking shower of rancid goat shit.

I've just remembered that I can use my staff discount and get my jab cheaper. If I want it, that is.

Of course not. If the private sector did anything good or useful then the BBC would go up in a puff of smoke.

It's like believing in Tinkerbell. They meet every morning to shout "I BELIEVE IN STATE-FUNDED MAGIC! I BELIEVE IN STATE-FUNDED MAGIC!

But why DO Boots refuse to vaccinate anyone under the age of 16?

I mean, if it's a company decision, then why?

And if not a company decision, but a government restriction, then why are doctors not pointing this out to reporters and...

Oh. Right.

They also glossed over the bit where the GP was saying "and anyhow NHS GPs wouldn't immunise a kid not in an at risk group anyway'

Typical BBC breakfast, when non issues and spastics collide

The obvious solution is for the GPs to relocate to Tescos, and, Harley-Street doctors to relocate to Waitrose.

My Daddy, in USA says that they have a shortage of vaccines but that they are being told it's going to be ok as the UK govt have too many and are going to be sending them over.

Good-oh

Just make folk with a fucking cold stay at home where they can't spread their fucking germs. Paint an 'X' on their door so the rest of us can see where the infected live. If they really MUST go out into the world of the healthy they should be fitted with cowl and bells so we hear them coming and can take avoidance action.

I, for one, will opt not to have any kind of state-sponsored jab and take my chances with my immune system.
