I see she's being vilified by a whole bunch of people for not going with the flow on the Kelly report on MP expenses. Everyone else was saying how MP's just need to blindly accept whatever Kelly recommends, and May was saying that they need to hang back and study the results.
The guy from Labour seemed particularly keen that the recommendations should just be blindly accepted, which made me suspect that there will be some sneaky troughing mechanism buried in the recommendations as a quid pro quo for whatever they're paying Kelly.
What happens if the Kelly report doesn't go far enough? What if it's another whitewash? If Parliament then waves it through, then Labour can claim that they have done something about it, the troughing will continue and MP's will be able to say: "Look, we did what we were told, is there no pleasing you people?"
I smell a rat.

.. and your nose has served you well Mr Clown. This is about to become the biggest and most successful spin that we've seen for some time. It's a case of "doing something" so that when we all cry foul again after discovering that they are carrying on exactly as before, they can indeed turn round and say "is there no pleasing you all? we did something about it and you all accepted it". I fear that Kelly's report will be a stark reminder to the likes of JK Rowling that she isn't the only one who can create fantasies.
Don't you mean Theresa May. Teresa May is a clapped out old whore...oh, on second thoughts.
@Anonymous ... huh? ;o)
True, true, but May is still a royal pain in the arse.
